What is Hope Ministries?
As hard as we may try, we cannot navigate life flawlessly and escape all its challenges. These challenges can leave us feeling overwhelmed, alone, anxious, angry, or even afraid. Jesus, himself, said “In this world you will have trouble” (John 16:33), but He also said in that same verse to “Take Heart!” (begin to feel hopeful that things will get better) because "in me, you may have peace.”
Hope Ministries is a lay, Biblical counseling ministry whose mission is to come alongside those who are hurting to restore hope and bring healing. Through prayer, application of Biblical principles, and the power of the Holy Spirit, our counselors can walk with you and assist you in discovering and changing unhealthy mindsets and, in doing so, help you to fully experience God’s love for you and His plans for your life. (Jer 29:11)

Have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior
Have completed Training/Coursework endorsed by the AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors)
Have a completed, clear background check on file
Feel the call of God to serve and care for hurting people
Currently, we are able to minister to the River Church’s regular attendees only. Our goal is to expand services to the surrounding community at a later time.
